Senior Collection

world on fire

This collection is created out of upcycled mens dress-shirts and cyanotype printed into garments that tell the life cycle story of 6 looks. All of the scraps were collected and integrated as textiles throughout.

CLO 3D

The prints and silhouettes throughout the collection were pulled from images of tigers found in a variety of Salvador Dali’s paintings. The abstract ink print was an interpretation of tiger strips, while the distressed texture was born out of the idea of a tiger destroying the garments.

Resilient Life

This project was inspired by nature's ability to heal itself over time, when given the space it needs. I was reflecting on COVID lockdown and how the world started to restore itself because it was not being polluted. The Great Barrier Reef showed signs of restoration and the water in the canals in Italy became clear. I represented oil spills and pollution with black spray paint and nature restoration with light floral fabrics. I used rope to bind the fabric so that volume overflowed on the sides – representing nature's strength that bursts with life.
